Chef Advocate of the Year 2017

On October 20 of this year, we announced our chef advocate of the year as Jon Gibson

As chef advocate of the year, Jon Gibson has demonstrated the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated support for wild-caught, domestic shrimp industry through various media and public relations vehicles.
  • Submit two or more recipes showcasing Wild American Shrimp.
  • Involvement in community philanthropic activities and food advocacy programs.
  • Showcase any culinary awards of excellence, especially in the area of seafood.
