Faith Family Shrimp Company is a wholesale and retail shrimp dealer in Chauvin, Louisiana and is made up of fourth and fifth generation fishermen. The company owns and operates five commercial fishing vessels that land an average of 2 million pounds of wild-caught Gulf shrimp per year. Run by husband and wife team, Chad and Angela Portier, along with their family, they own and operate these fishing vessels, as well as, a full-time working shrimp dock. A majority of their product is sold at local supermarkets and restaurants with the help of major shrimp processing facilities located along the Gulf Coast.
